What if I told you that you could become completely unrecognisable and reinvigorate your life with a short transformation?
Why not begin your ultimate transformation? Many spend their idle lives unhappy, unconfident and unsatisfied with the body in which they inhabit and the mind in which they are entrapped. A life sentence, yet even this is a complement as one would be required to be alive!
Who you are today doesn’t have to be the you of tomorrow, without that much sacrifice, just the right guidance!
And who better to give it than the man who’s driving licence can no longer identify him, the man that could attend a school homecoming and leave completely unrecognised, the man that has spent the last 2 years of his life becoming the best version of himself and no longer recognises the boy that preceded him.
This article will be split into three chapters. The intangible thorn, The realisation and The rebirth. Partly for atmospheric storytelling and partly to define the three different periods of the transformation. Or as I define them, three separate identities.
Chapter 1: The intangible thorn.
This is where my transformation began. I lived my life as the skinniest boy in the room, quite noticeably which others enjoyed pointing out. At 6ft, 128 lbs at the age of 17, I was ridiculed by others for being anorexic, starved daily. Even got a few creative ones like skinny enough to play the xylophone on my ribs. Targeted physically as a result of the lack, if any, physical presence.
(2021)
Living life with so much anxiety, knowing that at any point I could be targeted and used at the will of others. So much so that the majority of my time was spent trying to be invisible. This was unconscious of course, just thought to be a product of life. That’s why this section is named the intangible thorn. It was a pain that I was unable to grasp and articulate.
I spent the majority of my time going to school, playing xbox and drinking plenty of alcohol, not unlike any other average teenager. In fact I’m not going to play the old fiddle and pretend I was a bullied outcast that hated life because I wasn’t. In fact I loved life, maybe for the wrong reasons but that’s expected.
I did unknowingly feel like utter shit at all times. I mean who would’ve thought it was the consumption of only one 300 calorie pot noodle a day which as a by-product was my only consumption water also. Playing 12 hours of xbox daily and going to bed at 6 am. Not even 17 year old me as a relatively intelligent being, apparently.
But it was still riddled with anxiety. There were occasions when I served as a punching bag to boost someone else’s ego. But it’s a dog eat dog world, a world in which the bigger dog usually wins. And I was a cat.
I tell you this not as a sob story or due to a massive chip on my shoulder, I tell you as a means of encouragement. To those of you that also have or still experience such insults, just know that these words do not define you. What does is your actions. You have two choices to not do anything as I did for so long which implies you don’t care enough so ignore it. Or take steps to become the ultimate you!
Chapter 2: The realisation.
Until one day I had had enough. Sounds cliche I know. But still to this day when I think back to why I took the first step in the gym it evades me. There was never an incident that inspired me, no fight, no breakup. In fact i had one more girlfriend back then, and one less breakup than i did now.
So I honestly can’t tell you why I began force feeding myself with over 6,000 calories daily and lifting as if the life of an entire lineage depended on it. There was a sudden intense desire that triggered and made my sole objective to grow in size as much as I could, by any means required.
(March 2021)
First Programme
Which led me to my first programme. I often look back at my time in the gym and question some of the decisions made. However my first programme was not one of them. In fact I would recommend it to all new beginners looking to achieve a similar transformation. The full body 3x a week split.
So much so that we are providing a free new and improved Full Body Program for all those looking to put on incredible mass and strength as a beginner. Training only 3 days a week gives the freedom to get to grips with training without the scary commitment of going 7 days a week for just as much muscle.
The programme targets the 3 main compound lifts, the deadlift, bench, and squat. As a newcomer you need relatively little stress on the muscle to grow. Therefore lets target absolutely everything three days a week to create a really strong base. Combined with a large consumption of calories creates this type of growth, even with these below average genetics.
It’s perfect for a beginner. Giving you the absolute best core for advancing your weightlifting journey becoming strong and big at the same time. For reference I had benched and squatted 2 plates just within my first year of lifting.
Diet Transformation
As previously mentioned diet was the main difference and contributor to size. It is no exaggeration that I increased my caloric intake by 5 times within a month. Going from eating around 1000 calories a day to over 5,000 calories. I say over because this is what I was tracking on my fitness pal. I was not tracking liquids such as milk and protein shakes so it was likely closer to 6000.
(August 2021)
It should be known that this is not advice. It was incredibly dangerous and overkill which led me to look like a balloon about to bust. By August of 2021 I had gone from anorexic to seriously obese in 8 months. From 128 lbs in January to a staggering 210 lbs in August. It sounds unbelievable even looking at it now. I cannot believe it. That’s a whopping 2.5 lbs a week for 8 months straight. The recommended amount is 0.5-1 lbs a week.

Because it was also unsustainable. This overkill compulsive bulking was a one way trip to the hospital waiting to happen. Which is exactly what happened. After 8 months of abuse I had developed a serious food anxiety, to the point in which the mere thought of food induced sickness. It was clear that I wasn’t prepared to stop so my body had to take action itself.
However with a begrudging decrease in calories and relaxed eating habits this anxiety remedied itself, providing a needed lesson in moderation and effective diet planning in order to see consistent success.
Transformation Motivation
Within the first 3 months of lifting, 90% of gym goers give up training. Some say it’s due to a lack of motivation, a dislike for the process or any old excuse. The truth is there is no motivation, a transformation of this type excels motivation. It takes discipline, the act of doing what’s necessary despite how you feel.
There are however ways to ensure this discipline. Many of these valuable resources can be easily found and accessed right here at twmethod.com, at absolutely no cost despite their incredible value. As I do not intend to gate keep the resources and information that I use daily to achieve my ultimate self.
Resources such as weight, lift and nutrition trackers which provide great insight into the great work that you have completed and the work that is on the horizon. Keeping a narrow gaze of the goal at hand.
I kept my journey to myself, allowing the outcomes to speak for themselves. Sharing your plans with others can create a false sense of accomplishment, an idea I explore in detail in my article on self-improvement books. Ultimately, achieving your true potential is something you must do for yourself, as no one else will do it for you.
Not due to lack of effectiveness, but because I had a longing that could only be satisfied by spending six days a week in the gym. Soon, my dedication shifted from simply going to actually compelling myself to take a break. After all, it’s during rest that muscle growth truly happens.
And this pretty much sets the scene for the rest of the chapter. What followed was consistent hard work and growth both physically and mentally. Grinding every day, hitting my macros and the gym hard . Being held back only by my environment, my home gym as I began to outgrow it. Leading us to our final chapter.
Chapter 3: The Rebirth
This is where the dark knight rises. The scene in which Bruce Wayne emerges from the pit completely remade, void of the baggage that held him back. Leaving only the goal and the clear path to achieve it. Dramatic I know, but also a great representation of this transformation.
Here, we bring together all the lessons learned from our past mistakes and experiences to achieve superior outcomes. With the foundation laid, it was now time to refine my skills and share them with others.
After joining a gym which matched my level of training, my results excelled. To the point in which I am now 205 lbs at 6ft, and unlike before at an acceptable body fat. Of course I’m not by any stretch shredded with incredible vascularity.
However as a natural lifter this is not just expected but optimal to see continued results. After all, I don’t think the fitness industry needs another Alex Eubank that has plateaued at 170lbs for the last 3 years to stay in influencer condition year round. And in all honesty I personally feel the best at this conditioning as it allows me to hit the gym everyday and consistently progress.
To further convey the reality of natural lifting, I won’t lie and tell you that I have reached incredible lifting milestones with a 4 plate bench and 6 plate squat. However, I have reached levels of strength unimaginable to me 2 years ago.
And as much as I’d love to list off some of my lift achievements, or tell you how massive my 13 inch arms are, I am also conscious of the poison that is comparison. Thus I will not discuss specific numbers because this allows for comparison when in reality all our journeys are different and unique.
The only person that has been through the same set of experiences, lessons, genetics and hardships is yourself. Therefore the only fair competition in this world is you. If you can beat the you of last week then you have taken your first step towards a great transformation.
What's next?
Although it is not the strength I strive for. Instead the last year has seen a dedicated shift to prioritising hypertrophy and size as I look to compete within bodybuilding within the near future. Which has seen me knuckle down my training to specialise and produce results that will benefit me when I step on stage for the first time.
I have also seen an unbelievable increase in quality of life, confidence, and productivity within this period of my life. I have learnt to balance work life, education and the gym like clockwork. Reducing stress and feeling the best I ever have. With an excitement to tackle life and the challenges which accompany it.
So much so that I now look to challenge myself even further. With challenges such as 75 hard I seek to create my own to explore my true discipline and ability to overcome. However it seems that this exact challenge for good or for bad is something that I already do everyday. I don’t drink, I eat healthy, I exercise and I also seek to increase my knowledge on a daily basis.
So I have decided to embark on my own 75 hard challenge in the new year. A challenge that will aim to challenge me creatively, professionally and personally. As previously mentioned I have primarily lived my life trying to be invisible even to this day. Thus I will attempt to do the opposite for 75 days.
From January I will attempt to create and post some sort of video to this website and instagram page for 75 days. And failure to do so will result in a £25 donation to charity for every day that is missed.
So this is how I attempt to push myself even further and there is always a way in which you can challenge yourself to become the ultimate you.
I encourage everyone that has appreciatively read this to do the same. Challenge yourself to do one thing next year that is hard for you. Whether that is going to the gym, sticking to a diet, making new friends, getting a new job. You will be surprised how much you can accomplish.
Why not start your own transformation?
